About the apartments
In Hercegkút you can enjoy your holiday in a rural area, far from the noisy bustle of the city but close to the nature. This unique Swabian village can be found near the river Bodrog in North-East Hungary, 4 km away from the famous historical and cultural city, Sárospatak. But most importantly Hercegkút is part of the Tokaj Wine Region World Heritage Site. It won this rewarding title thanks to its famous wine cellars, delicious wines and the breathtaking natural environment. After spending here a couple of days you can feel the regenerating power of the beauty of the nature, the unique tastes of the local wine and traditional food and the loving and carrying community where you can feel special!
The Apartment Hercegkút offers quality accommodation in a quiet and peaceful area. The apartments are situated in the very centre of the village, close to groceries and bus stops. The Apartment Hercegekut features a traditional Hungarian cottage with fully refurbished and comfortable interior with gas heating. In addition it also comprises a huge garden on 1100 m2 with open fire place, barbeque terrace and garden furnitures including sandbox for the children. These features make the apartments truly ideal for families and groups.There are four separate apartments with own entrance ( for 6+1, 4+1, 2+2, 4+1 occupancy). We are able to host families and groups of up to 20 people. The size of the apartments are: 45-45-30-36 m2 respectively. In the two smaller apartments the living room and the kitchen are in one area. In the two larger apartments there is a spacious bedroom, a lounge and a kitchen. Naturally all apartments have own bathrooms.In the photo album (link) you can find the detailed blue-print of the apartments including the layout of the furnitures as well. The apartments are designed generally for self catering, however if you wish you can order special local meals in advance of your arrival. Wine tastings in one of the heritage wine cellars are also available upon interest.
